あらすじ
山奥でひとり暮らしていた尻尾付きの少年・孫悟空は、西の都から来た少女ブルマと偶然出会う。彼女との出会いをきっかけに、七つそろえると神龍が現れ、どんな願いも一つ叶えてくれるという不思議な玉「ドラゴンボール」の伝説を知る。さらに、悟空が亡き育ての親・孫悟飯の形見として大切にしていた玉が、そのドラゴンボールの一つ「四星球」であることが判明する。こうして悟空はブルマと手を組み、残るドラゴンボールを求める冒険の旅へ。
